Job Title: Deductions Analyst Location: Chicago, IL (on-site)Job Type: Full-timeSalary Range: $55,000-$75,000 base w bonus Our client is currently seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to join their team as a Deductions Analyst. As a key player in the financial operations, you will manage customer deductions, oversee commission calculations, handle trade spend accruals, and provide comprehensive sales reporting and analysis on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure financial integrity and accurate reporting. Key Responsibilities: Manage customer deductions, investigate discrepancies, and work with sales, finance, and customer service teams to resolve issues. Develop and implement commission calculation processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Monitor and manage trade spend accruals, analyze promotional activities, and collaborate with sales and marketing teams. Generate and analyze weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports, providing insights and recommendations for improvement. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in deductions management, commissions calculation, and trade spend accrual in a corporate setting. Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel for data analysis. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-departmental collaboration. Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of ERP systems and experience with data visualization tools. Familiarity with the Food and CPG industry.
