HSE & Training Representative MS

Your ContributionAs an HSE Representative reporting to the Plant Manager, you will confer and cooperate with management personnel with OSHA standards and requirements.Reviews and analyzes expenditure, financial and operations reports to determine requirements for obtaining safety goals for each facility and company goalsPrepares recommendations on findings for management evaluationRecommends and signs off on acquisition of new equipment (Safety requirements only)Ensure a safe work environment for all employeesEnsures compliance with OSHATOSHA standards, legal codes, fire codes, and local regulationsEnsures compliance with EPA regulations, as requiredWorker's Compensation Administrator including reporting results, monitoring costs, and coordinating with Workers' Compensation Third Party AdministratorRecord keeping for all OSHATOSHA, worker's compensation, and training documentationDevelopment and facilitation of plant Safety Committee and Responder TeamsAdministration of Emergency Response plans for all facilitiesYour Experience & QualificationsBachelor's Degree in safety related field preferred, or related work experience equivalent.  Certification in industrial safety should be obtained within two (2) years of placement in this positionMust be able to facilitate meetingsMust have strong administrative and presentation skillsKnowledgeable in use of spreadsheets (Excel) processing (Word) software, and Lotus Notes a mustOur OfferingWe will provide a collaborative environment working on exciting assignments, along with ongoing personal & career development opportunities.We encourage you to apply even if you don't meet every single requirement.
