Medical Malpractice Associate Attorney MI

We are seeking an associate to join the firm's medical malpractice practice group. Our medical malpractice team is looking for a motivated attorney that can be available to begin supporting them with handling matters, research, drafting documents and taking depositions.Requirements:Have 2-5 years of experience in a medical malpractice litigation practiceDeposition experienceProficient and independent in handling litigation matters, including depositions, pre-trial discovery, mediations, trials, etc.Excellent research, legal brief writing and communication skills General litigation motion writing and courtroom oral skillsGeneral understanding of medical recordsWorking knowledge of Michigan Court Rules and Rules of EvidenceWorking knowledge of Federal Rules of Civil ProcedureComfort level with learning new computer softwareJ.D. from an ABA-approved law schoolA member in good standing and active in the Michigan Bar. We are seeking a well-rounded, dynamic, highly motivated lawyer, who has demonstrated an ability to compete and prosper in highly competitive and complex environments, with significant client contact.
