This candidate must have experience completing project estimates, calculations, building manufacturer drawings, and fabrication detailing using MBS. Structural Engineer SummaryWe are seeking a Structural Engineer to serve a key role within our metal building engineering services team. Project types include recreation, warehouse, aviation, cultivation, and others.Structural Engineer ResponsibilitiesMasters MBS project templates, standards, and proceduresResponsible for MBS originated estimates, engineering packages, and procurement packagesResponsible for identifying, managing, and mitigating financial risk exposure.Learns to leverage and manage external resources to increase volume of executable workDevelops tremendous Commercial Awareness of MBS limitations, vendor contracts, and project lifecycle stakeholdersPeer review work originated by othersAddress technical issues during constructionField walkdowns and drafting field reportsReports to PEMB Studio LeaderStructural Engineer QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Master's with Structural focus is a plus2-5 years of experience in structural designs of metal buildingsPassed PE ExamCurrently contributing to a diverse team in the completion of multiple projects through design and construction phasesHighly organized, self-motivated, strong communicator, and respected leaderProficient in MBSProficient in MathCAD for developing calculationsProficient in Ram Structural System, Tekla Structural Designer, or similar for completing structural analysis independent of MBSAdvanced knowledge of engineering codes and standards (ACI, AISC, ASCE7, etc)Compensation, Benefits, and IncentivesGrowth Opportunities | Becoming a Senior Structural Engineer and Studio Lead following an established and proven record.Health Plan, Dental, Vision and Life | Angle Health PPO or Angle Health HDP (HSA), Principal Dental and Vision can help cover healthcare costs, dental, vision, and prescriptions.
