Property Accountant - Hybrid About the company Our client is a privately held Real Estate firm managing and investing in high-net-worth properties throughout the country. Their portfolio consists of mixed use, retail, and industrial properties. They are seeking to add a Property Accountant to join their dynamic team; great opportunity to join and enhance your skills through hands on training. Currently the role is a hybrid position located in the Hudson Yards area of Midtown, NYC with great office space in a historical building Competitive salary with bonus structure; strong medical benefits, 401k plan with match and can join in a month of starting; generous PTOHoliday time off Key responsibilities of the Property Accountant include: Prepare monthly bank reconciliations; Record adjusting and accrual entries and monitor cash balances Prepare financial statements in accordance with GAAP principles Staff Accountant will also eventually be responsible for review leases for compliance Additional Ad Hoc responsibilities as assigned by the Chief Financial Officer What you bring to the table as the Property Accountant... 2+ years of relevant accounting experience; Real Estate is a plus Experience using an accounting system such as Yardi, MRI, Appfolio and others a plus Must have the ability to communicate professionally with members of the team at all levels Salary: $60000-$70000
