Accounts Receivable Specialist CO

Growing, Software company located in Downtown Denver is looking to add a sharp Accounts Receivable Specialist to their team!The Accounts Receivable Specialist will report to the Accounting Manager. Essential Functions & Responsibilities for the Accounts Receivable Specialist role: New Customer Setup - Work with sales to create new customers in our ERP system Accounts Receivable - Apply and post checks and cash received to physical addresses in ASTRA. Process payments via electronic upload for lockbox and miscellaneous accounts. Maintain large accounts and reconcile customer accounts as needed. Provide incoming cash forecast weekly to support treasury management. Become proficient in navigating customer portals to support above efforts. Clearly communicate with inside and outside customers. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel along with a high degree computer literacy. Monitor the AR email box, responding to customers' needs. Month-end close responsibilities including ownership of aging, AR balance sheet reconciliations and accruals as needed. Assist with other accounting and finance functions as needed. Education, Training, and Skills Required for the Accounts Receivable Specialist role: Strong analytical skills Excellent attention to detail At least 2+ years of AR experience Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and Word Ability to engage and interact with all levels of the organization Experience with ERP systems and the ability to quickly learn new systems Hours for the Accounts Receivable Specialist are Monday through Friday, 8:00 - 5:00 in a business-casual environment that offers flexibilityLocal Accounts Receivable Specialist candidates onlyAccounts Receivable candidates must past a background check.Salary range $60,000 - $65,000 + excellent benefits #INFEB2025#INMAR2025 #ZRCFS
