Position Summary:The Manufacturing Coordinator is a key role within the division, supporting the growth and success of operations by serving as an extension of the Manufacturing process. This position is designed to develop the skills and experience needed for future leadership opportunities, including a potential transition into Production Management.Working directly with the Operations Manager, the Manufacturing Coordinator will acquire knowledge of manufacturing operations, scheduling, and reporting.Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Support: • Train staff on established procedures, including material and equipment management. • Collaborate with Purchasing to track, validate, and allocate materials and equipment. • Manage consumable inventory and ensure timely reordering. • Gain expertise in the KD (Knockdown) process, from shipment list creation to final delivery sign-off.Production Coordination: • Maintain and update the production schedule, transitioning to Epicor for enhanced functionality. • Track and analyze production phases, ensuring accurate reporting. • Coordinate with Engineering and Sales to align project timelines and deliverables. • Schedule and lead production and project validation meetings. • Plan and execute agendas for each production meeting. • Track production progress and analyze phase reporting.Production Planning & Scheduling: • Master Epicor scheduling and reporting tools to streamline operations. • Perform advanced scheduling and job cost analysis to optimize efficiency and identify areas for improvement. • Communicate with engineers and sales team to gain awareness of current and future projects in sales pipeline. • Work in tandem with sales team to maintain production slotting reports.Qualifications: • Manufacturing experience and familiarity with Epicor are highly preferred. • Strong organizational and scheduling skills with excellent attention to detail. • Proficient in data entry and reporting with strong computer literacy. • Exceptional communication and coordination abilities across teams and departments.All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, age, color, sex (including pregnancy), religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, military status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable laws or regulations.GPAC (Growing People and Companies) is an award-winning search firm specializing in placing quality professionals within multiple industries across the United States since 1990.
