Position Overview: Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Manager to join their dynamic finance team. The Accounting Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all accounting processes. Overview of the Accounting Manager Role: Oversee and coordinate the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting. Maintain and ensure the accuracy of the general ledger, including the preparation and review of journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements. Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately, maintaining the integrity of financial data related to debits and credits. Supervise the AP function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and vendor relations. Identify and rectify discrepancies, implement best practices, and streamline accounting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Continuously assess and improve accounting procedures, implementing innovative solutions to optimize financial operations. Preferred Qualifications for the Accounting Manager: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred. Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or Assistant Controller Experience with Sage Intacct is highly desirable and considered a significant advantage. Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance regulations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly. Proactive approach to identifying issues and implementing effective solutions.
