ACCOUNTANT About the Company and the Accountant Position: This local non-profit organization is looking for an Accountant who truly cares about their mission; to provide compassionate care for all their patients. This organization values the variety of services given to their patients and works closely as a team to ensure patient satisfactory.Responsibilities of the Accountant: Performs complex, detailed reconciliations of operating and payroll bank accounts to the general ledger Performs other general ledger reconciliations as needed in support of monthly, quarterly and annual closings Calculates and initiates corresponding journal entries Maintains Excel spreadsheets for audit support inquiries Other duties as assigned Preferred Qualifications of the Accountant: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting 1 to 3 years accounting experience Knowledge of GAAP Ability to work with minimal supervision Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills Maintains confidentiality Experience identifying, collecting and organizing data for decision making Proficient in relevant software such as Excel Salary and Benefits: In-office (Wooster, Ohio) Pay range is $60,000 to $65,000 There is a very strong benefits package #accounting #growth #nonprofit #development#LI-MS8#ZRCFS#INFEB2025#LI-Onsite
