As a forward-thinking company, they are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Analyst to join their finance team. This position will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate and timely collections, ensuring the health of their company's financial operations. Job Description:They are seeking an experienced AR Analyst to manage and monitor the accounts receivable process. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in AS400 (iSeries) and possess strong analytical skills, with an understanding of manufacturing finance operations. You will work closely with the accounting team and various departments to ensure smooth and effective financial transactions. Key Responsibilities: Manage and monitor daily AR functions, including invoicing, cash applications, and collections. Reconcile AR accounts and ensure accurate reporting in the AS400 system. Analyze aging reports and assist in the resolution of outstanding payments. Collaborate with the sales, customer service, and finance teams to resolve billing discrepancies and customer payment issues. Process and apply payments, adjustments, and credits in AS400. Ensure timely follow-up on outstanding invoices to reduce DSO (Days Sales Outstanding). Maintain accurate records of all customer accounts and transactions. Assist with month-end closing procedures related to AR and provide supporting documentation for audits. Requirements: Proven experience as an AR Analyst, or in a similar accountingfinance role, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Strong experience using AS400 (iSeries) or similar ERP systems for AR functions. Strong understanding of accounts receivable processes, cash flow management, and aging reports. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office software. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments. Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
