This includes:Examine industries to identify potentially attractive buyout candidatesAttend industry conferences to gain knowledge of industry trends and key competitorsReview confidential information memorandums of companies for saleHelp develop work plans, review data rooms, and draft data requestsParticipate in company management presentations and due diligence sessionsInteract directly with senior management of target companies and senior members at NonantumAssist with debt financing, financial covenants, and debt documentationAssist with deal closing activitiesPortfolio Company Strategy:Analysts also spend time on portfolio company strategy. This will include developing operational improvement plans that will be implemented after a transaction closes, attending board meetings, sitting in with senior executives, and helping manage external consulting TERFACES WITHThe Analyst will interface with everyone within the firm.
