Job Title: Material & Equipment CoordinatorLocation: M-F on site in Marlborough, MADuration: 6 month C2HRate: $20-25hr based on experinceUnder supervisory direction, functions as a member of a production team whose goal is to assemble required components, operate equipment, inspect in-process devices and maintain the quality and integrity of the products at all times.This position has several primary responsibilities:End-to-end management of receiving, cleaning, converting, and storing refurbished NFHU medical device product - this will include performing the refurbishment tasks for a particular device. Assembly will involve use of simple tools, fixtures, and gono-go gauges as defined in an assembly WI.Coordinating shipping and receiving of capital equipment including incoming and outbound quality and functional verification of endoscopy capital and ancillary equipment (i.e. models). Inspect, test, and maintain capital including troubleshooting basic issues or scheduling for repairs when appropriateCollaborating with an established Logistics and Materials Management team during peak times to support end-to-end shipping ("pick, pack, ship"), receiving, organization and storage for general warehouse operationsESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.Follow and adhere to company policy and procedures.Perform multiple operations in a functional area, such as product re-assembly, material documentation, handling, and control.Ability to perform inspection and functional verification on capital equipment (scopes, processors, demo models)Demonstrate self-motivated initiative.Ability to use computers at a proficient level as needed, i.e., confirmations, issue materials, print labels.Participates in program or functional team projects developing process improvement methods, solutions, and procedures to enhance quality and efficiency.EDUCATION andor EXPERIENCE:High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.1+ years' experience or has prior medical device related experience.Demonstrates ability to be cross-trained and demonstrates good knowledge of component identification and documentation requirements.Some experience in machiningLooking for some technician experience, who can re-assemble a refurbished product for demonstration purposes along with inspect and perform light maintenance on endoscopy capital equipment.OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Ability to get along with people and to be able to work in a team environment. Participates in program or functional team projects developing process improvement methods, solutions, and procedures to enhance quality and efficiency. Ability to work flexible andor extended hours and to rotate into different tasks and responsibilities.While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit and walk. Requires manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. Ability to use small gauges and other hand-held tools as required. Requires use of fingers or hands to manipulateassemble moderately to small size tools or objects. The employee may lift andor move up to 50 pounds.
