Company DescriptionFast Track Electric Corp. has been serving the wireless industry since 2002. But our history and experience dates to 1994. We have been installing all phases of Telecommunication projects from full tower builds, new service installs to the smallest repairs to maintain existing carrier services. We have worked with all telecom carrier, (Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, AT&T, Metro PCS, Motorola). We also have MSAs with Crown Castle, American Towers, SBA & Ericsson. We currently have offices in New York, New Jersey & Florida with capabilities to operate independently to service a larger area.  Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Field Technician located in Oceanside, NY. The Field Technician will be responsible for performing the following work:Primary Role: ConnectorJumper fabrication, Sweep testing, PIM, PIM Mitigation, PIM Hunting, External Interference hunting, Fiber testing, Fusion splicing, Antenna optimization. Required for scheduled repair and possible emergency calls.Secondary Role: Assist with full site build to include Antenna, Radio, Steel mounts, Steel Platform QualificationsSweep and PIM testing experience (1 - 2 years).Certifications are preferred, but any field proved employee will be sent for certifications. Troubleshooting and Problem-solving abilities.Ability to perform field testing and submit results to project lead in a timely and professional manner.Knowledge of low voltage (-48 vDC) electrical installation is a must.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.Excellent communication skills.A passion to learn new skills and improve yourself in life.
