Construction Superintendent

Responsibilities:Prepare cost estimates, construction budgets, and schedules for spect worksites to assess conditions and ensure quality control.Determine material, subcontractor, and labor requirements for projects.Participate in pre-construction meetings to outline project goals.Oversee and coordinate on-site activities, ensuring that all employees, subcontractors, and vendors meet standards.Manage the buy-out process for projects within a $5,000 budget; assist with projects exceeding $5,000.Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.Review invoices and timesheets to ensure accuracy and compliance with contract terms.Travel to remote locations to prepare cost estimates, establish operations, and adhere to local building codes and standards.Identify, evaluate, and select local subcontractors and vendors.Contribute creatively to building success by maintaining low costs and high-quality standards.Requirements:Ability to travel at least 75% of the time.Construction experience required, multi-family experience preferred.High school diploma or equivalent.Valid driver's license.Experience with NAV, ProCore, or Sage preferred.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent organizational and time-management skills.Strong sense of urgency and problem-solving abilities.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Strong customer service skills and ability to work with a variety of subcontractors.High level of integrity and resourcefulness in decision-making.
