Currently seeking to fill a position in the Tampa, Florida area.About the RoleThe Regional Sales Manager oversees all sales operations within their designated region. Your responsibilities will include motivating and training the sales team, designing strategic sales plans, and assessing costs and competition. This position is also responsible for achieving sales goals through acquiring and developing new customers and expanding the product line within the existing customer base.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement strategic plans to achieve Regional sales targets and expand customer baseMotivate team to consistently hit revenue targetsGive product recommendations, application instructions, and quote jobs for architectural, commercial, and industrial clientsManage, develop, lead, evaluate, recruit sales staffMaintain regular contact with customers to understand needs and identify business opportunities.Other duties as assigned by VP-SalesRequired SkillsMust reside or be willing to relocate to the Tampa, Florida or surrounding areaMust have 3 years of experience in specifying or selling protective coatingsMust be able to travel when necessaryProven experience as a sales executive, sales manager or sales and marketing directorPrevious experience managing a team preferredAbility to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficientlyOutstanding interpersonal and customer service skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to negotiate and close dealsProven ability to drive the sales process from plan to closeCommitment to ethical behavior and willingness to adhere to company policiesMust have valid driver's license and clean driving recordPay range and compensation packageSalary negotiable based on sales and management experience and paint industry knowledge.
