Job Summary:This is a highly visible role with excellent growth opportunities for a driven Automation Engineer looking to make a significant impact. This is an exciting chance to work on innovative projects, drive process improvements, and grow within a company that values technical expertise and forward-thinking solutions.Key Responsibilities:Automation System Design and Implementation (25%):Design and development of sophisticated automation systems, including end-of-arm tooling, robotic integration, and automated conveyance stall, program, and commission PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems to ensure seamless integration with existing manufacturing processes.Project Management (20%):Manage automation projects from conception through completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.Develop detailed project plans, including resource allocation, risk assessments, and contingency strategies.Cross-Functional Collaboration (15%):Work closely with Production, Quality Assurance, and Sales departments to identify automation opportunities and align solutions with business objectives.Engage with external clients and suppliers to define requirements and ensure the successful implementation of automation projects.Performance Monitoring and Optimization (15%):Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for automation systems to assess efficiency, reliability, and output quality.Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance and reduce operational downtime.Mentorship and Leadership (15%):Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of innovation and professional pliance and Documentation (10%):Ensure all automation solutions comply with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.Maintain comprehensive documentation, including design specifications, validation protocols, and user manuals.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field preferred.Advanced degree a plus.Experience in automation engineering within a manufacturing setting.Technical Skills:Experience in PLC, HMI, and SCADA programming, with expertise in platforms such as Allen-Bradley and Siemens.CAD skills for designing automation components and systems.Familiarity with robotics integration and control systems a plus
