Accounts Receivable Analyst Chicago$80,000 - $100,000 + bonus and benefits An Accounts Receivable Analyst role is available for this world leading Law firm who has developed an enviable reputation for advising world-leading corporate and financial institutions across some of the world's leading companies and financial institutions including a significant number listed on the Fortune 100, FTSE 100 and DAX. Covering a broad range of practices including Banking & Finance, Capital Markets, Intellectual Property, Joint Ventures & Strategic Alliances, Mergers & Acquisitions and Real Estate, the business operates across Asia, the Americas and Europe. This is a key role where you can manage a portfolio of Firm partners, ensuring timely and effective recovery of outstanding payments from clients. Key Responsibilities of the Accounts Receivable AnalystImplements effective collection strategies that ensure timely collection of payments from clientsFosters positive relationships with partners, clients and internal stakeholders to facilitate effective collaboration and resolution of collection issuesProactively follows up, conceives solutions and solves problemsProvides reports, analyses, and recommendations to partnersServes as a point of contact for clients on payment inquiries, disputes and overdue balancesCollaborates with billing and other administrative teams to address billing inquiries and disputesEffectively utilizes the Firm's financial systems and software for tracking collections, noting statuses, updating contact information and generating reportsMaintains strong records of commentaries on collection efforts and statusesPrepares and presents regular reports on collection performance, aging reports and other metricsEnsures compliance with Firm policies, legal requirements and client agreementsIdentifies opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies in the collection processRegularly reconciles accounts and resolves discrepancies to ensure accurate and current recordsMeets collection targetsAssists with special projects and other tasks as assignedSkills & Attributes of the Accounts Receivable AnalystBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field is preferredYou will need to have a minimum two years collections experience, ideally within the professional services sectorProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products with experience of data analysis and use of PowerBIEvidence of providing exemplary service and upholding high standards of excellenceSkilled in cultivating strong relationships and fostering trust among partners, clients and colleaguesDemonstrate a high attention to detail when pursuing payments, documenting actions and maintaining recordsShow confidence in pursuing payments, navigating negotiations, upholding Firm policies and effectively escalating issuesApplications can only be considered from those eligible to live & work in the USA without restriction.
