Planned Companies - Payroll Supervisor SummaryReporting to the Payroll Manager, the qualified candidate will be responsible for various aspects of the payroll function for hourly employees. HYBRID SCHEDULE: 3 days a week in office 2 days homePrimary Job Responsibilities:Oversee 2 full-time payroll specialistsMaintain payroll information by adhering to the established controls & processes; overseeing the collection, calculation, and entering of payroll fortable working with a proprietary time and attendance software which ultimately feeds our UKG payroll softwareUnderstand Collective Bargaining Employee (Union) nuances, and the additional responsibilities and tasks associated with this group of employees.Pay employees by directing the production and issuance of paychecks or electronic transfers to bank accounts for the company's weekly and bi-weekly payroll cyclesPrepare reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wages.Provide payroll information by answering questions and requests to various stakeholders within the company.Maintain employee confidence and protect payroll operations by keeping information confidential.Assist with department-wide special projects as needed.Requirements:4 -5 years of experience in a payroll function - payroll for a large number of hourly employees (at least 2,500 employees) - preferably in the service industryAbility to handle sensitive information and maintain a high level of confidentialityBi-lingual (English & Spanish fluency)Advanced level experience using various payroll software solutions: UKG (Ultipro), ADP, Paychex or other software solutionsProblem solving skillsProficient at MS Office (especially Excel)Team player, highly organizedAbility to work in a fast-paced environment including working overtime hours as necessary"Planned Companies is an equal opportunity employer.
