Our client is hiring for a seasoned Maintenance Technician in the Blauvelt, NY. to support their manufacturing maintenance team. What's in it for you? Competitive pay: $30-$35 Shift Opportunities: Seeking First Shift applicants (7:00AM-3:30PM) Full benefits with a very short eligibility period A top-notch safety record Wellness programs Opportunities for career growth and development Your day to day responsibilities: Perform inspections and repairs production equipment such as gearboxes, pumps, airhydraulic cylinders and lines, process rolls, reclaim and extrusion equipment, and utilities equipment such as air compressors and water chillers systems Troubleshoot and repair 480 volt 3-phase motors and controls Diagnose and troubleshooting failures on equipment Troubleshoot, PMs and repairs of buildings, equipment and installed systems to include: extrusion, thermoforming, printing machinery, grinders, blowers, plumbing systems, roofs, drains, shop, and grounds equipment Clean, lubricate, and service a wide variety of pumps, valves, pneumatic controls, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic devices Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems Replace and repair building finishes such as ceiling tiles, door hardware, piping, floors and equipment Maintain and operate fire and life safety systems such as fire alarm systems, fire pumps and related fire protection system equipment as assigned What you need to be successful: At least 3 years of industrial maintenance experience (mechanical and electrical) in a production or heavy industrial environment Possess competent knowledge of the use and care of tools and equipment used in facility and ground maintenance After applying, if you would like to speak with a recruiter, call us at (470)-750-0810.
