Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 03/24/2025 Duration: 12 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours Employment Type: Travel Guaranteed Hour: 36 Time Type: Nights 12 (18:45-7:15) (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM) Unit Description ============ This is a Step-Down unit and agency nurses/positions are subject to floating to other critical care units (i.e., ICU). Candidates must understand and agree to floating to other units outside of their assigned location. Additional Information ================= Unit Description:? Trach care, bariatrics, nocturnal vents, stroke care 1:5 for SD/PCU; 1:6 if floated to acute care. MSD cares for PD patients, CSD cares for stroke patients, SSD cares for surgical patients. Float: within specialty/ Elmer? 4 East and 4 West: This is a Step-Down unit and agency nurses/positions are subject to floating to other critical care units (i.e., ICU). Candidates must understand and agree to floating to other units outside of their assigned location. ?Experience and Requirements:? Must have a MIN. of 2 years' experience working on a Step Down/PCU unit.? Contract Length: 6 weeks? Specialty: Must be true STEP-DOWN RN- M/S tele are not accepted? Weekend: Every other? Holiday: Every other RTO: no more than 3 days? License: NJ or compact? Certs: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS(AHA only)? Scrub Color: navy Charting: Cerner Float Requirements? Sent by client directly to the worker by 5pm the Friday prior to Monday start.? The worker will receive three emails from client.? 1.?TEAMS link for Monday which is a virtual orientation day.? a. They will attend a Teams meeting and then continue the day with 'at your pace' modules.? 2.?Education to schedule their orientation classes.? a. Classes take place Tuesday-Thursday, and the candidate MUST attend. If they try to reschedule or miss a class, they will not be able to complete their assignment.? b.?The POCT class is scheduled for the 2nd or 3rd week of the assignment. Please ensure your worker has their POCT class date and remembers to attend.? 3.HR Email- scheduling an ID Badge appointment and review policy/procedure.? a. The ID badge is very important to obtain prior to their Orientation Shift. This is how the candidate clocks in and out, which is how invoicing/billing occurs!? ?*Workers must be available for the full 7 days of their first week for Orientation. No special scheduling for Orientation is permitted. If workers cannot attend full Orientation the offer will be rescinded. *? Orientation - Friday before Monday start candidate will get details via email from the Hospital team directly - please have them check junk folder as well usually around 4:30 pm. Badge appointment is also emailed to the candidate by the facility Monday is a virtual day - Teams call starts around 8:30 - 9 am. Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday - classes are scheduled onsite 1-4 hours long in early afternoon and details may be sent after Monday meeting is completed Fri/Sat/Sun is Orientation shift which will be on the shift hired for and schedule will be made available after Tue/Wed/Thur classes have been completed by the candidate #TB_HC Talent Burst Job ID #.
