Microsoft Azure Administrator

*Not accepting C2C or Out-of-state candidates at this time*We are looking for a skilled Microsoft Azure Administrator to manage and maintain cloud infrastructure. This role focuses on ensuring the performance, security, and reliability of cloud-based systems while assisting in implementing new Azure solutions aligned with business needs.Key Responsibilities -Azure Infrastructure Management:Configure, monitor, and manage Azure services, including virtual machines, storage accounts, and networks.Optimize Azure resources for cost efficiency and performance.Implement and manage virtual networking, including VPNs, NSGs, and load balancers.Security and Compliance:Implement security policies and access controls for Azure resources.Monitor and mitigate security threats using Azure Security Center, Azure Sentinel, and related tools.Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal standards.Backup and Disaster Recovery:Design and manage Azure Backup and Azure Site Recovery solutions.Develop and test disaster recovery plans for critical systems.Monitoring and Troubleshooting:Monitor resource utilization and performance using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure services.Deployment and Automation:Use Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, PowerShell, or Bicep for automation.Collaborate with development teams to deploy and manage CICD pipelines in Azure DevOps.Collaboration and Support:Work closely with cross-functional teams to design and deploy cloud-based solutions.Provide technical support and guidance on Azure-related issues.Address issues reported via problem management systems according to SLAs.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.Proven experience as a Microsoft Azure Administrator or similar role.Strong knowledge of Azure services, including VMs, storage, networking, and security.Experience with Azure AD, Azure Policy, and governance best practices.Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, CLI, or other relevant tools.Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Preferred QualificationsMicrosoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or higher certification.Familiarity with multi-cloud environments and integrations.Understanding of DevOps principles and experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
