Job Purpose: Serve as NA Manufacturing Technical Trainer to develop, schedule, and deliver equipment technical training to technical associates (ES, Engineering, PS, etc.) for the purpose of optimizing NA region (LO & RO) resources skills to improve manufacturing efficiency and plant characteristics. Key Accountabilities:Deliver equipment technical training to Equipment Service, Equipment Engineers, and OperatorsMaintainmodify training curriculum and aidesequipment relevant to existing technologies Develop training relevant to new manufacturing technologies including curriculum and aidesPersuading TDU management on training needs throughout NA through analysis reportingMaintain Training Equipment Complete administrative duties relevant to course delivery (ReportingRecordingRequisitions)Communicate with MESD plant leaders on RCA activity and technical support Support other training sites with course delivery or development needs Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:4 year technicalbachelor's degree (engineering technology, electro-mechanical or equivalent) or 8+ years' experience in manufacturing environment2+ years Tech Trainer I with degree or 8+ year manufacturing experience (equipment service or engineering required) - Auto Mfg. Paint Technologies preferredPLC, robotics, or other electro-mechanical system knowledge, MS-Office, CAD tool (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA), teaching certification (not required), E-Flow evaluation process Working Conditions:Weekly OT is limited (5 to 10 hours)Travel to other manufacturing sites 6 to 8 times per yearOff-shift training as neededClassroom, lab working environment & plant floor as required What differentiates Honda and make us an employer of choice?
