Trademark Paralegal

LHH Recruitment in partnership with a great firm in Parsippany NJ is seeking a Trademark Paralegal. This role is fully on site for 90 days and then offers a hybrid environment. It is a permanent position.Responsibilities Successfully manage a very heavy docket that includes preparation, filing, and reporting of trademark application and renewal documents, conducting searches, monitoring, and various brand protection and enforcement related tasks.Conduct preliminary US searches and worldwide searches for trademark availabilityPrepare draft reporting letters and responses to Office Actions for attorney reviewPrepare formal assignments and agreements for trademark matters and records relevant materials with the United States Patent and Trademark OfficeResearch trademark laws to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations Respond to office actions from government agencies Manages and tracks trademark portfolioActively participates in risk management by meeting all internal and statutory due dates, careful review of file histories and client instructions, accurate preparation of documents, file maintenancehandling procedures, timelinessresponsiveness, and overall quality of service Requirements Bachelor's degree2+ years of directly related experience during which knowledge, skills and abilities applicable to the position were demonstrated Experience using Huski a plus Excellent written and verbal communication skills
