IT Logistics, Coordinator Boston, MA - 021343 Months contract with possible extensionComputer Refresh Duties & ResponsibilitiesServes as a principal source of information on computer selection reach outs and advises faculty or staff on existing options or alternatives.Supports outreach to schedule individual deployments as they relate to overall schedule.May assist in preparing orders for computers and related deployment hardware.Ensures customer satisfaction with deployments through follow up and corrective action.Assists in assigning assets to individuals and updating corresponding asset records.Asset Management Duties & ResponsibilitiesWorks with customers to determine asset reporting needs.Create reports, review asset trends and review with management on next steps.Assists in managing inventory and asset tracking.Tracks purchased assets from inception through resale or disposalTracks leased assets from inception through disposalreturnCompletes asset audits.Administrative Duties & ResponsibilitiesOrganizes and implements administrative systems and procedures performing necessary support duties.Provides for smooth day-to-day flow of communications between our unit, staff, and faculty.Gathers and maintains data for and assists in preparing reports andor spreadsheets, often using a variety of computer software.Will compose, proofread, edit, and prepare correspondence, reports and other materials using Word processing, spreadsheets andor databases.Participates in measuring performance and capturingreporting on lessons learned to continuously improve the deployment project and process.Contributes to unit goals by accomplishing related duties as required. Basic Qualifications:3+ years related work experienceAdditional Qualifications and Skills:Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Strong customer service skills with a proven record of accomplishment.Excel or database skillsProficiency using a variety of computer software and systems.A willingness to take ownership and be accountable where appropriate is essential.Business training beyond high school or college background is preferred.Excellentoral and written communication terpersonal and analytical anizational skills with ability to prioritize work in an environment with multiple and conflicting interests.Basic technical background that will allow for an understanding of infrastructureenvironment.Experiencewith ServiceNow report generation a pluswith business process analysis; understands business requirements and design solutions.with ServiceNow a plusPossesses good listening skills.Supports team building and embraces diversity.Consistently acknowledges and appreciates each team member's contributions.Demonstrates high ethics and values and embraces diversity.Establishes and maintains interpersonal relationships.Works to meet the goals of HUIT with enthusiasm and a spirit of cooperation.
