We service our clients primarily in the NYC area, as well as nationally through our AAFA network (45 financial staffing affiliates throughout the U.S. and Canada).Our client, a technology giant located in New York City, is looking for an International Tax Senior to join their team of dedicated tax professionals to assist with the international tax compliance, tax accounting, tax controversy and planning functions.This is a hybrid position and our client offers a flex schedule, a competitive compensation package, excellent benefits and the chance to work within a top-tier tax department.The Senior International Tax Associate position will be responsible for assisting in the preparation andor review of U.S. International Tax and foreign tax compliance. Also, this position will be responsible for assisting in U.S. International tax research, Accounting for Income Taxes (ASC 740), tax audits, tax planning, transfer pricing, other tax projects and overall support of the tax department.Key Responsibilities Assist in preparation andor review of U.S. International tax workpapers, forms, and statements and elections for Pattern's foreign entities (Forms 5471, 8865 and 8858)Assist in the preparation of Subpart F, GILTI, earnings and profits, I.R.C. 987 calculations, BEAT, foreign tax credit, withholding tax, and other tax calculationsIdentify and implement process improvements in the U.S. International Tax Compliance processParticipate in U.S. International tax research as part of the US International tax compliance process, tax planning projects, and other tax projectsAssist in gathering tax information and preparing tax workpapers for the foreign tax compliance processAssist in year-end Accounting for Income Taxes (ASC 740) complianceParticipate in special projects including international tax planningAssist with the U.S Federal and Foreign tax auditsnotices related to all international tax mattersQualificationsBachelor's Degree in Accounting or similarCPA andor Graduate Degree in Taxation is a plus.1+ years of relevant U.S. International Tax work experience in Big 4 accounting firm andor multinational corporate tax department showing the ability to progressively assume additional responsibilitiesProficient with tax software and Microsoft Suite products.
