The Regional Sales & Education Representative's primary responsibility is to generate in-store sales and provide top-tier product education. The S&E Representative is the main partner to the National Account Executive and contributes to strategic decision making to influence Golden Meteors' portfolio of brands for in-store success. The S&E Representative is accountable for growth in sales performance, budgetary management, and eventually, people management in their respective territory.The ideal candidate must enjoy the retail environment and must have a strong background in sales, education, and training. The candidate must be a stellar seller, organized, responsible, detail-oriented, a self-starter, a multi-tasker and possess strong follow-up skills. A S&E Representative must have the ability to successfully plan, organize and conduct events and trainings at the store level and manage a team to conduct their own events and trainings within their assigned stores. Communication skills, timely reporting practices, follow-through, and a collaborative approach with National Account Executive to develop strategic in-store activity. Energy, passion & resilience are crucial; must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.Primary responsibilities:Coordinate and book in-store training and support dates, and activate strategic education and event initiatives as directed by sales leadership teamAct as primary day-to-day brand contact for designated stores; achieve targeted sales growthDevelop and frequently assess store's visit call cycle for self and direct reports; partner with RSM to optimize territory coverageEducate, train and develop employees at our retail partners, with a focus on product knowledge and selling skillsUtilize Golden Meteors sales, education, event tools, personal selling skills and experience to support fiscal sales plan achievementPlan and execute effective in-store events to drive sales and support marketing objectivesBe a professional brand ambassador and role model for the brand through training and event activitiesContinuously assess and evaluate each door's productivity, sales and training results with NAECollaborate with NAE to build impactful store-by-store action plans to address store needs and support sales goals regionallyDevelop and build strong relationships with staff and store leadership up to District level at all retail accountsContinually assess staffing needs and partner with National Account Executive on staffing opportunitiesOperationalStrategically and per company direction, book events to optimize sales and ensure proper execution with partnership with stores; oversee event scheduling of direct reportsCollaborate with retail partners to analyze and assess stock needs, relay stock concerns to National Account ExecutiveSupport Golden Meteors' in-store merchandising and visual programs and communicate challenges to National Account ExecutiveMaintain weekly communication with National Account Executive, brand ambassadors, and freelance regarding business opportunities, results, successes; complete and submit post-event recaps and weekly reports in a timely mannerManage an allotted budget and keep National Account Executive informed of any concernsTeam DevelopmentIn partnership with National Account Executive, coach and develop brand ambassadors and freelancers on product knowledge, sales techniques and leveraging store relationshipsAssist National Account Executive in recruiting, onboarding and assessment of brand ambassadors and freelancers; implement individual development plans to support brand and convey progress reports to National Account Executive periodicallyTrainingTrain, guide and coach store staff, brand ambassadors and freelancers in elevated presentation skills and consultative sales techniques to drive Golden Meteors' business and meet productivity and sales goalsRepresent Golden Meteors' brand in personal image, presentation in trainings, meetings, and eventsContribute knowledge of trends and translate that to Golden Meteors' brand products and application techniques in training and event activitiesSupervisory ResponsibilityOver time, this role will be responsible for managing a field team spread out over a territory that may include multiple states.
