Senior Treasury Analyst

We're looking for a Senior Treasury Analyst who understands the importance of the operational and technical excellence that is needed to help our bank continue to flourish and provide our customers with exceptional products and services.If you are a self-motivated, detail orientated professional driven to succeed in a growing retailcommercial bank, you may be the perfect candidate for the Treasury Team at Northern.PRIMARY FUNCTIONSAct as the primary person responsible for asset liability management (ALM) analytics and forecasting with keen attention to detailConduct interest rate risk measurement and liquidity stress testing using the Empyrean Solutions softwareProvide balance sheet insights and strategy recommendations supported by analyticsPrepare Treasury reporting for ALCO and other senior management meetings with limited oversightAssist Treasurer with managing the cash position and collateral positionsAssist the Financial Planning and Analysis Department with balance sheet forecasting and net interest income projections for budgeting and capital stress testingJOB QUALIFICATIONS5-8 years of relevant experience, preferably in the banking or financial services industriesExperience with Empyrean ALM and Liquidity Stress Testing models is strongly preferredStrong computer skills with the ability to learn multiple software solutions and programming languagesUnderstanding of ALCO, liquidity, capital, and general financial statementsProven ability to develop impactful presentations for senior audiencesBS degree preferred
