Epitec Vendor Management Analyst Contract Duration: 12 monthsLocation: Ridgefield Park, NJJob DescriptionHiring Manager Preferences:Top 3 Skill Sets: Conduct Due Diligence, Performance Metrics Analysis, Alignment with Business GoalsEducation Requirement: BABSYears of Experience: 0-2+Schedule: Monday to Thursday in office, Friday remoteRole and Responsibilities: The Project Manager will be responsible for executing procurement strategies to evaluate vendor risk and performance. This position involves managing the indirect vendor registration process and overseeing the vendor performance evaluation for marketing projects nationwide to ensure quality and satisfaction. Additionally, the Project Manager will support the adoption and usage of vendor management and sourcing portals by working closely with headquarters, audit, internal procurement team members, and business owners. The role also includes providing strong analytical support and serving as the primary liaison between procurement, audit, and internal business areas to support collaborative strategic initiatives.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Manage the vendor on-boarding process for assigned business categoriesPerform preliminary risk-based reviews of vendor on-boarding requests and associated documents to ensure compliance with company policiesOwn vendor master records in the company's ERP systemProvide guidance to business teams on the process required to register suppliers for the company's vendor poolIdentify opportunities to improve the efficiency of the vendor onboarding process and systemsCoordinate with internal stakeholders to perform annual performance evaluations for key vendorsBuild relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, to gather and understand critical information for annual performance evaluationsDevelop improvement plans, corrective action plans, or escalation plans to address any discrepancies in performance found during evaluationsRecord, track, and summarize performance evaluation data for reporting to top managementSkills and Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field from a four-year college or university0-2+ years of experience (or equivalent) in Purchasing, Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Audit, or Project ManagementIn-depth use and knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SAPAbility to work independently, take initiative, and prioritize tasks to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong team player with the ability to lead or participate in cross-functional teamsHigh degree of ethics and professionalism to ensure control of the company's expendituresExcellent analytical, planning, negotiation, and written & oral communication skillsProven ability to influence others and drive meaningful change results
