The business owners are hands-on leaders, and the firm is on a fast track to becoming a top Cost Management provider in the USA.Our client is seeking a best-in-class Cost Manager to join their growing Pittsburgh office, focusing on data center projects. This is not just a standard "Cost Manager" role"”given the firm's early-stage expansion, there is a significant opportunity to join at a pivotal time and progress rapidly while working on cutting-edge projects.Role Responsibilities:Oversee the day-to-day cost management of data center projects.Develop Order of Cost Estimates, Cost Plans, Tender Documents, and Contract Documents in line with company standards.Manage administrative tasks related to Cost Meetings and project cost controls.Liaise with Contractors to review cost reports, track planned versus actual costs, assess changes and variations, and resolve disputes.Utilize and maintain cost management platforms to effectively communicate cost-related matters within a project.Work closely with Project Managers during construction phases, ensuring provisional sum schedules and CDP schedules are updated and shared with all stakeholders.Conduct monthly valuations, contribute to final account settlements, and handle change requests under appropriate guidance.Prepare required monthly reports and financial statements for internal and client review.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Construction, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction andor contract management, ideally within data centers or mission-critical projects.Strong understanding of construction, engineering, and architectural principles.Experience with both Pre- and Post-Contract cost management.Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.US citizenship, existing transferable right to work in the US, or eligibility for an E2 or E3 visa.This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing, innovative firm at a crucial stage of expansion, with significant career growth potential.
