Come be a part of our fast-paced, entrepreneurial culture and next stage of growth.About the role:We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Staff Accountant with a focus on accounts receivable to join our team. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for managing accounts receivable, collections, purchase order management with opportunities for increased responsibility over time including accounts payable, expense reporting and projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of GAAP & IFRS principles and possess excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.What you'll do:Manage and monitor accounts receivable, including processing invoices, collections, and reconciling customer accountsOversee purchase order management, including reviewing, approving, and tracking purchase ordersAssist with month-end close including preparation of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, managing intercompany balances and reportingManage accounts payable, including processing invoices, reconciling vendor accounts, and issuing paymentsAssist with transition from Quickbooks to SAPProcess employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and proceduresProvide support to other members of the accounting team, as neededWho you are:Bachelor's degree in AccountingFinance (or equivalent experience)1-3 years of related work experienceTechnical understanding of accounting principles and GAAP & IFRSAbility to work cross-functionally to achieve desired company resultsProficient in Microsoft Excel (including Vlookups and pivot tables), Word, and PowerPointStrong desire to learn and improve processes to better scaleOrganized, accountable and process-orientedIdeal experience at a SaaS company andor managing multiple entities with varying currencies What you're good at:SAP experience is a plus, but not requiredCommunication, organization, and the ability to multitask to effectively prioritize and manage workflowLeveraging technology to be as efficient as possible.
