Director of Retail and OperationsLocation: Hybrid NYC | United States (with travel across US markets)Reporting to: Global Leadership Team (NYC & Italy)The Director of Retail and Operations will launch and manage new retail locations across the US, establish operational frameworks, and ensure alignment with the brand vision and global standards. This strategic leader will navigate luxury retail expansion while fostering collaboration between US and Italian headquarters.Current locations include Palm Beach, Dallas (June) and NYC (coming soon).Key Responsibilities:Develop US retail expansion roadmap including market analysis, site selection, and openingsEstablish operational policies ensuring efficiency and exceptional customer experienceDrive sales through strategic initiatives and localized customer engagementRecruit and mentor retail teams aligned with brand ethosLiaise between US operations and Italy to ensure brand consistencyDeliver immersive, elevated shopping experiences that embody the brand identitySettrack performance goals and financial forecasting for profitabilityCoordinate with e-commercemarketing for cohesive brand experienceManage events, market activations, and trunk show programsOperational Duties:Maintain budgets and administer expense controlsDevelop store management protocols and ensure complianceManage clientele supplies, packaging inventory, and distributionOversee new store construction costs and analyze expendituresExecute semi-annual sample sales and manager meetingsSupport store events and special projects as neededQualifications:10+ years in retail operations, preferably luxurycontemporary fashionProven success launching and scaling US retail locationsStrong leadership managing multi-store operations and teamsExcellent cross-cultural communication skillsDeep understanding of US retail landscape and consumer behaviorExperience with P&L management and retail analyticsProficiency in Microsoft ExcelAbility to travel within US and to ItalyEducation: Bachelor's degree required with minimum 5 years multi-store retail management experience
