The Jenny Layne Bakery - Pastry Chef

Experienced cake decorator needed to design, decorate, and deliver weddings cakes to local DFW wedding venues. Training is available. Petite desserts will be made for orders as well. All positions are required to bake and decorate. As the baker/cake decorator, you will be responsible for preparing baked goods of different varieties. Please see website for menu. This position will require the ability to decorate cakes, cupcakes, and pair desserts for weddings. We average 20-30 weddings per weekend. We do not hire individuals without decorating experience. You'll be responsible for cleaning and maintaining baking equipment and following all safety and sanitation protocols. Delivering cakes to various wedding venues around DFW is required. Will need a clean driving record. Drivers license required. Flexible scheduling available but must be willing to work weekends. Most work hours fall between 10am and 6pm. However early morning and night time is available.
