Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Progressive Care Unit (PCU) team. The RN will provide high-quality, patient-centered care for acutely ill patients requiring close monitoring and specialized nursing interventions. This role requires strong critical thinking, clinical judgment, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit , monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and managing complex patient conditions. Assess patient status and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and healthcare teams. Utilize advanced clinical skills to recognize changes in patient conditions and take appropriate action. Educate patients and families about disease management, treatment plans, and post-hospital care. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records (EMR). Respond to emergencies and implement appropriate interventions, including code response and life-saving measures. Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and best practices in patient safety and infection control. Qualifications: Current RN license in the state of practice (or ability to obtain).
