Restoration Estimator

Summary: The Restoration Estimator is responsible for managing a wide range of functions necessary to successfully obtain, bid, and price mitigation and remediation projects. They are responsible for ensuring an accurate scope of work is created, delivering consistent and complete estimates, and maintaining a high quality of service in all dealings with customers, clients, and resource providers involved in mitigation and remediation services.Responsibilities:Establish customer relationship for mitigation and remediation servicesEducate customer on the mitigation and remediation processEnsure that estimates meet client requirementsAnalyze labor, material, and time requirements for a projectCreate an accurate sketch and initial scope of work for mitigation and remediationprojectsDeliver quick, consistent, and well-defined estimatesOther duties as assigned Necessary Experience and EducationMinimum of 2 years previous mitigation and remediation estimating andor insurance adjusting experience.High school diplomaGED required.Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred.Strong technical knowledge and experience with Xactimate software.Superb customer service skills. Effective communication skills; oral and writtenAbility to thrive in high-pressure, emergency response situations.Detail-oriented and organized, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.Proficient in the use of technology, including mobile devices and project managementsoftware.
