This role is pivotal in overseeing the assessment and underwriting of large corporate credit exposures, ensuring the stability and performance of our credit portfolio.Key Responsibilities:Credit Assessment: Lead the evaluation of large corporate credit exposures, including financial analysis, credit ratings, and industry trends.Underwriting: Oversee the underwriting process for corporate credit transactions, ensuring adherence to credit policies and risk appetite.Risk Mitigation: Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to address identified credit risks and enhance the overall credit quality of the portfolio.Monitoring: Continuously monitor credit exposures and market conditions to identify emerging risks and take proactive measures.Policy Development: Create and maintain corporate credit risk management policies, standards, and procedures.Reporting: Prepare detailed risk reports, highlighting key findings, recommendations, and action plans for senior management and stakeholders.Collaboration: Work closely with investment, compliance, and legal teams to integrate credit risk management practices into business processes.Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry best practices.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) preferred.Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in corporate credit risk management, with a focus on large corporate credit and underwriting within the financial services industry.Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in financial analysis and credit assessment methodologies.Knowledge: In-depth understanding of corporate credit risk management frameworks, financial instruments, and regulatory requirements.Personal Attributes:Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a tegrity: High ethical standards and a commitment to transparency.Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse pensation: Competitive salary and benefits package, including performance-based bonuses and professional development opportunities.
