RED's pharma client is searching for a Senior Project Management resource with the following experience"MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH U.S. TAX LAWS. This project is the upgrade of our client's entire company's tax engine.Someone with a tax background (not just US) to understand how the tax engine works and its implications across the ecosystem is ideal.- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, organizational skills required.- Risk and time management skills required, to successfully identify, assess and prioritize risks, and followed by coordinated efforts to minimize, monitor, and control the probability or impact of unfortunate events, ensuring that deliverables align with project timelines and milestones.- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, principles, values, and practices such as Scrum, Kanban, or Lean required. This includes knowledge of Agile frameworks, roles, ceremonies, and artifacts.- Proficiency in project management techniques and practices required. - Excellent communication and facilitation skills required for effective and productive collaboration and fostering a culture of transparency and open communication within the team. This involves active listening, clear verbal and written communication, and the ability to facilitate meetings and discussions.- Problem-solving and adaptability: Agile projects often require quick decision-making and problem-solving. The ability to think critically, analyze complex situations, and adapt plans based on feedback and changing requirements is essential.- Stakeholder management: Agile Program managers must be skilled in managing and influencing stakeholders at various levels. This includes understanding stakeholder needs, balancing competing priorities, and effectively communicating project progress and outcomes.- Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities required.- Financial acumen required (budget management, cost estimation, financial reporting).- Working knowledge of common tools used in this role - MS-Project, Spotfire, SharePoint and MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Atlassian tools (Jira & Confluence), Planning tools such as Apptio for financial planning and TCO management (Total Cost of Ownership) required.- A good understanding of SAP systems and modules (functionalities, processes, and integration points) is required. Preferred experience and skills:- Continuous learning and improvement: Being open to learning and continuously improving Agile practices and methodologies is important. This involves embracing a growth mindset, seeking feedback, and identifying opportunities for process optimization and innovation.- Conflict resolution: The ability to identify and address conflicts within the team or with stakeholders is important for maintaining a healthy work environment and ensuring project success.- Knowledge of various SAP ERP modules, and experience with licensing for ECC, S4 HANA and cloud platforms, etc. preferred.- Experience in Global SAP implementations in a project planning program management capacity required.- Good understanding of business processes and ability to connect requirements from different groups preferred.- Knowledge of Pharmaceutical industry and validated software environments preferred.Description: Job Responsibilities Primary job responsibilities include:The role of an Program Manager, includes (but is not limited to) the following responsibilities:1. Facilitate Agile practices: Guide teams in the adoption and implementation of Agile methodologies (such as Scrum, Kanban, etc.) to enhance collaboration and productivity.2. Facilitate Agile ceremonies: lead meetings such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to keep the team aligned, ensure progress, and identify areas for improvement.3. Coordinate and Align Teams: Ensure alignment between multiple Agile teams and manage dependencies across them to achieve program goals.4. Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing updates on program status, risks, and changes while also gathering feedback and requirements.5. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and impediments, assess their impact, and implement mitigation strategies to reduce project risks.6. Resource Management: Manage and allocate resources across teams, ensuring that project tasks are appropriately staffed and that team members have the necessary skills and tools.7. Managing project scope and priorities: work closely with stakeholders to define project requirements and prioritize tasks, ensuring that the team focuses on delivering the most valuable features first.8. Program Planning and Road-mapping: Develop and maintain program roadmaps.
