Shift: MON-FRI 8AM-4:30PMDURATION: 3 MONTH CONTRACT FOR SOMEONE THAT'S ON LEAVE. POSSIBLE EXTENSION BUT NOT TEMP-PERM ROLE.CANDIDATE MUST BE ITAR COMPLIANT AND HAVE PROPER ITAR DOCUMENTATION FOR INTERVIEWS.**DURING INTERVIEW PROCESS, THERE WILL BE A PRINT READING ASSESSMENT TO DETERMINE YOUR ABILITY TO INTERPRET PRINTS.**US Citizens and green cardDescription:The Quality Inspector performs a variety of quality audits on products in production for assigned process areas. The candidate will use gages, microscopes andor vision system and refers to blueprints to perform audit function. Results of final inspections are documented on required forms.Responsibilities & QualificationsResponsibilities:• Perform inspections on vendor supplied material• Use standard inspection equipment including vision systems, calipers, micrometers, gono go gages, pin gages, ectc• Establish daily priorities and determine the most important tasks to perform at any given time of the day• Use various software applications including Windows, Outlook, Excel, Word• Ability to send and receive data instructions via E-mail using the above applications• Communicate the results of inspections to Engineering, Inspection and Management• Use ERP system (SAP) in order to accept or reject material based on inspection resultsQualifications:• Ability to read blueprints• Good interpersonal and communication skills• Ability to work independently• Prior inspection experience preferred• Knowledge of FAI's preferred• Prior Quality inspection experience of 2+ year preferred.
