GREATER NY ANALYST CORPS has matched over 100 early-career financial professionals with nonprofits to work on high-priority data and modeling projects.GREATER NY EVENTS bring members of the Greater NY network together in conversations that encourage a more collaborative New York City - from large panel discussions to intimate leadership conversationsFor more information, please visit OPPORTUNITY - Greater NY is growing in size and complexity and seeks an individual with broad operational and management skills to oversee key infrastructure functions and take organizational management to the next level. The Greater NY Operations and Finance Manager will work closely with the Executive Director and will interface with all staff members and consultants to manage a portfolio that includes finance, HR, and organizational workflows and process management. The role is both tactical and strategic. The ideal candidate brings attention to detail, a passion for process and great interpersonal skills. The person in this role should be able to work independently with high levels of personal responsibility but also thrive in a highly collaborative organizational culture. The Greater NY Operations and Finance manager has responsibility for:ORGANIZATIONAL INFRASTRUCTURE AND HUMAN RESOURCES - Greater NY's infrastructure is a well-built suite of applications with HR largely administered by a payroll and an outsourced benefits platform. Greater NY also has outsourced IT and Salesforce implementation support but both functions require an increasing level of internal coordination. The role is both administrative - management of Gusto and other vendors - and strategic, including a focus on improving process, supporting cross-function collaboration, and strengthening culture to supportenhance these operational improvements. Specifically, the role includes:Oversee Human Resources platform and all internal coordinationManage administration on contract servicesManage hiringCoordinate People Processes - policies, time and reviewsSupport of cross-program alignment and workflows as organization evolvesCoordinate cross-program evaluation reportingFINANCE - Greater NY's finance shop is supported by an external bookkeeper and a fractional administrator. As such, the job does not require strong accounting skills but does require a knowledge of financial management and reporting as well as curiosity, attention to detail, process-improvement orientation and excellent communication skills. Administrative aspects of the job include coordination and oversight of core financial management activities. Strategic aspects of the job include taking financial reporting and budgeting processes to the next level.
