Credit Analyst

Founded in 1990, 5Star Bank is a locally-owned and operated Colorado business. With an entrepreneurial spirit, we offer innovative products and services along with providing expert financial advice. We help business owners, their families and employees succeed financially by providing smart, collaborative service and financial solutions. We are looking for an experienced credit analyst that will complete a quality credit write-up by gathering, analyzing and interpreting all types of credit information on existing and prospective customers. The candidate will review customer accounts and portfolios in order to identify, evaluate and determine the appropriate course of action on potential credit quality issues in order to maximize credit quality and minimize risk and potential loss to the company. ·        Must have a bachelor's degree in finance or accounting or equivalent work experience·        Three to five years of experience in bank credit and lending analysis·        Completed formal credit training and bank compliance training·        Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills Qualifications and Skills 1.     Excellent credit analysis and analytical skills2.     Thorough knowledge of credit administration, policy and procedures3.     Ability to prepare a loan presentation, including financial spreads with use of excel4.     Ability to present business industry information by use of various research tools5.     Thorough knowledge of economics, accounting, and finance and ability to interpret and communicate trends6.     In-depth knowledge of risk analysis of commercial and consumer real estate lending7.     Excellent technical report writing skills and attention to detail8.     Excellent verbal and written communication skills9.     Interacts with others (co-workers, management, clients, and vendors) in a professional and tactful manner including treating everyone with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position10. Ability to work in a rapid pace environment with short deadlines The Bank's management reserves the right to assign any additional duties necessary to meet the needs of our clients, associates andor shareholders. Annual salary range for this role $55,000 - $67,000 5Star Bank is an equal opportunity employer committed to creating a diverse workforce.
