LODE Software Administrator at Guidehouse summary: The LODE Software Administrator oversees development teams within a large software and AI research program for an Intelligence Community client, ensuring compliance with software development processes. This role requires expertise in complex algorithms, Linux systems administration, and quality control practices, along with experience in security and compliance specific to the Intelligence Community. The ideal candidate possesses significant experience in software engineering and relevant technologies, contributing to the delivery of innovative software solutions. Job Family: Software Development & Support Travel Required: None Clearance Required: Active Top Secret SCI with Polygraph What You Will Do: Learning Objective Discovery & Exchange (LODE) Software Administrator will oversee one or more development teams as part of a large software and AI research team for an Intelligence Community client, and ensure work is completed in accordance with constraints of particular software development process. Designs or implements complex algorithms requiring adherence to strict timing, system resource, and interface constraints. Perform Quality Control on team products. Confer with system engineers/hardware to derive software performance. Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure operational specifications are met. Implement recommendations for improving documentation/process. As part of a team delivering cutting edge technology, an ideal candidate will have familiarity with latest software development and administrator practices, particularly within Linux environments. What You Will Need: An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED TS/SCI Federal with DoD security clearance with a FULL SCOPE (FS/FSP) polygraph Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline FOURTEEN (14) or more years experience as a SWE an additional FOUR 4 years experience can be submitted in lieu of degree Experience with Linux systems administration Experience with front-end JavaScript development Experience with security and compliance requirements related to Intelligence Community customers Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Rancher, Slurm, and ElasticSearch What Would Be Nice To Have: Knowledge of how to manage systems that store massive quantities of data The annual salary range for this position is $113,000.00-$188,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
