Immigration Paralegal

Role Description (International students are welxome to apply, this role will have sponsorship) This is a part-time, fully remote role for an Immigration Paralegal at Ascend. The Immigration Paralegal will be responsible for assisting with legal document preparation, researching immigration issues, handling visas, and supporting with immigration law tasks on a day-to-day basis.Important Note: We are only considering applications from U.S. law school students and recent graduates who are yet to take the bar exam. This role is expected to be promoted to an Associate Attorney within the firm once they complete the bar exam. Do not apply if you think you cannot qualify to take the bar exam within the next 1 year. Qualifications Experience in Immigration Law, Visa Processing, and Legal Document Preparation is a plus but not required. Knowledge of Immigration Issues and PoliciesStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and remotelyOngoing Bachelor's degree in Law, or related field (Required)Eligibility to take the U.S Bar Exam within 12 months of joining (Required) International students on F1, OPT can apply, sponsorship will be provided.
