One of the primary means to achieve this end is to ensure that outstanding service is delivered to both internal and external membersKey Duties & Responsibilities:Deliver outstanding service to internal and external members in alignment with the Credit Union's Service Promises;Meets or exceeds all service and sales expectations;Possess adequate product knowledge as measured by the annual product knowledge certification assessment;Conducts all payingreceiving transactions, data entry, and records all pertinent information accurately and thoroughly;Controls, maintains, and secures all cash and consignments as assigned within established limits;Balances daily transactions in an accurate and precise manner;Screens potential members for membership eligibility;Practices and maintains a high awareness of member confidentiality and all security, safety, and internal control procedures;Greets members and prospective members, establishes priorities, and directs members to appropriate personnel to promote prompt service;Maintains a professional, neat appearance of lobby and reception area, including bulletin boards and kiosks;Distributes and reviews, for completeness, applications for products and services;Receives and reviews, loan applications for consumer loans and second mortgageHELOC loans;Approves share and certificate loans within established limits;Provides input regarding process improvement;Reviews documents with applicant and disburses loan; andPerforms other duties as assigned.Essential Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Ability to provide assistance where needed, despite prior instructions;Knowledge of cash handling procedures and techniques;Knowledge of all Credit Union products and services;Skill in the operations of a typewriter, calculator, CRT, PC, fax machine, and other office equipment;Demonstrate ability to effectively cross-sell products and services;Ability to verbally communicate effectively; andAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and members.Required Education & Experience:A combination of education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma, plus one year cash handling and customer service or one year retail sales experience to include public contact experience.EEO Statement:Tulare County Federal Credit Union is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, national origin, veteran status or any other basis covered by appropriate law.
