Senior Financial AnalystIrvine, CALeading global tech companyPay: $110-130K DOE plus 10-15% bonusNeeds:Minimum of 4 years Financial Planning & Analysis experienceLarge corporate FP&A experience is required Experience should include business decision analysis, forecasting, variance analysis, annual budgeting andor operational analysis (cost, pricing, margin, etc.), analyzing large data sets, providing ad hoc strategic analysisExceptional communications both written and verbalSelf-starter that is comfortable taking initiativePower BI or Tableau experience a plusAdvanced Excel is requiredSummary: The position will focus on supporting the financial analysis and modeling, budgeting process, consolidation of financial system, KPI creation, variance analysis of company performance and system implementation. Essential duties and responsibilities:Maintain and update financial and operational performance models and reports to understand performance and trendsMonthly financial package consolidation for all locations and improve current model in Adaptive to include all companiesEvaluates performanceoperationsfinancial: reviewing and conducting complex financial analyses and variance analysis Prepare financial bridge for actual performance to budgetprior yearLead annual budgeting process to completion of consolidation of budget fileTrack expenses and identify and investigate monthly and quarterly variances to budget and forecast while proactively identifying opportunities for improvementsDesign, develop, and prepare financial and data models to efficiently assess new sales opportunities and ventures.Apply Excel formulastools or statistical modeling to large quantities of data to deliver actionable information.Create andor generate necessary reporting and analyses for business segments, brands, and products in support of strategic decision vestigate and explain variances or unexpected results.Assist in the analysis of financial data and extract and define relevant information.Continuously focus on automating and streamlining the FP&A processesAssist in presentationreporting package for leadership team and corporate officeProvide ad hoc financial models and analyses to support strategic initiativesMinimum Required Skills, Background, Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or another related field required.Minimum of 4 years of financial planning and analysis experience with a company with revenues of at least $300MMicrosoft Office working knowledge; advanced skills in Excel Comfortable working with large amounts of data, producing timely and accurate results.Experience in financial consolidation tools such as HFM, WorkdayAdaptiveMust possess unquestionable integrity and character, demonstrating honesty, ethical behavior, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of professional conduct.
