We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized ParalegalLegal Assistant to support our legal team. While this position will be hired by Rinaldi, Finkelstein & Franklin, the individual will be seconded to SH Hotels & Resorts, working closely with our team. This role is based in our Greenwich, Connecticut office, five days a week.The ideal candidate will assist with document preparation, file management, contract tracking, and corporate record-keeping. This role requires strong organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and proficiency with legal documentation and software tools.What is this role all about?Key Responsibilities:Organize and maintain legal and corporate files, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.Draft and update structure charts using Visio and other software.Keep and manage contract files and records, ensuring timely updates.Track outstanding legal issues and action items, providing regular updates.Maintain corporate records, including annual and other legal resolutions.Monitor and track insurance claims and employee claims, ensuring accurate record-keeping.Track and update litigation lists and insurance claim statuses.Review and summarize legal documents for internal use.Prepare and type legal documents and correspondence as needed.Qualifications & Skills:Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies, Business, or a related field preferred.Experience: Prior experience in a legal assistant or paralegal role preferred.Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, and legal document management anizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain detailed munication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately track legal matters and ensure compliance.Must-Have's and Nice to Have'sPassionate about people, culture, organization and details with a minimum of 2 years of similar work experiencePrior experience in fast-paced environment.Strong organizational skills and extreme attention to detail, ability to multi-task and be a team player.Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required to facilitate clear and concise communication with a high level of professionalism.Hospitality experience is desirable but not required. Must possess legal work authorization to work in the United States.
