Akkodis is seeking a Product Development Engineer for a 12+ Contract position with a client located in Maple Grove, MNPay Range: $45hr - $49hr (The rate may vary based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)Position ResponsibilitiesWe have an exciting opportunity to support the WATCHMAN Division within the Cardiology group. This role will be a member of the Therapy Optimization team which seeks to support our physicians and field clinical team in the use of our device through the analysis of medical imaging such as CT and echo to identify procedural best practices and unmet needs.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate a strong team culture around high expectations & high-performanceUnderstand anatomy, clinical use cases, and the user interfacePrepare physician-facing presentations to summarize bench studies and coordinate cross-functional approval before distributionFacilitate crisp decision-making around key technical issuesProvide clear communication to stakeholders at key technical updatesLeverage internalexternal partners as necessary to achieve project objectivesLead the design & execution of structured experimental plans to drive data-based decisionsSupport bench & preclinical studies.Understand engineering design, processes, and materials and communicate them to others.Work cooperatively with quality, regulatory, clinical, marketing, and other supporting functions to ensure project success.Preferred Qualifications2 - 4 Years with BS 0 - 2 Years with MSClass II or Class III Medical Device product development experienceExperience with CT or echo-based medical imaging dataAbility to research literature and develop clinical understanding with technical credibilityExperience with 3D modeling, segmentation and 3D printingSolid experimental design and statistical analysis knowledgeNitinol experienceSolid clinical knowledge and experience in cardiovascular anatomy.If you are interested in this Product Development Engineer job in Maple Grove, MN, then please click APPLY NOW.
