This senior-level position is responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of complex commercial, institutional, and industrial projects, ensuring excellence in quality, safety, and financial performance. The ideal candidate will excel in guiding teams, strengthening client partnerships, and driving operational success in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Oversight: Direct the complete lifecycle of electrical construction projects, ensuring they meet client goals, budgets, and schedules while upholding superior standards of execution.Leadership & Mentorship: Supervise and motivate project managers, superintendents, and field personnel, promoting a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.Client Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders, including property owners, contractors, and design teams, delivering top-tier service and addressing concerns promptly.Financial Management: Oversee project budgets, cost projections, and profitability, applying strategies to maximize efficiency and minimize financial exposure.Safety & Compliance: Prioritize a safety-driven approach, ensuring adherence to OSHA standards, National Electrical Code (NEC), and internal policies through consistent oversight and training.Strategic Planning: Partner with leadership to identify growth opportunities, enhance project delivery methods, and support the organization's expansion in the Southeast region.Risk Management: Proactively identify and resolve potential obstacles, such as delays or supply chain issues, with creative and effective solutions to maintain project momentum.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.Experience: 10+ years in electrical construction, including 5+ years in a senior leadership or executive capacity overseeing substantial projects.Skills: Advanced knowledge of project management software (e.g., Primavera, Viewpoint), strong financial oversight capabilities, and deep understanding of electrical systems and codes.Certifications: PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred; electrical trade certifications (e.g., Master Electrician) advantageous.Attributes: Demonstrated leadership of diverse teams, adept negotiation skills, and ability to thrive in high-pressure situations; strong commitment to safety and quality.Licensure: Valid driver's license required; willingness to travel regionally as necessary.Physical Requirements & Work EnvironmentMust be capable of visiting construction sites, navigating uneven terrain, and occasionally lifting up to 30 lbs. Position based in St. Augustine, FL, with occasional travel to project sites across Northeast Florida and surrounding areas.
