Job Title: Project Manager - Mechanical Electrical Project ManagementLocation: Peoria, ILDetails: 24-month contract with ongoing need, opportunity for direct hire, fully onsitePay Rate: $53.00 - 58.00hr. with benefit inclusionsJob Summary: In this position, you will specialize in project management with facilities mechanical or electrical engineering expertise for large scope projects. You will have a broad understanding and experience with building systems and operations along with a deep understanding and extensive expertise in owner-led project management and construction management.Responsibilities:Coordinate projects, create detailed plans, and integrate technical activities.Present proposals, reports, and findings to clients.Recruit, assign, direct, and evaluate employees, and oversee staff development.Lead multiple high complexity facilities projects, including those over $10M in value.Manage project activities such as cost estimating, communications, and controlling scope, budget, schedule, and risk.Provide project management and technical support for office, warehouse, and manufacturing facilities.Oversee internal processes and continuous improvement initiatives.Ensure compliance with construction industry standards, policies, and practices.Serve as an expert in facilities mechanical or electrical engineering.Facilitate communication and coordination between various internal stakeholders.Manage relationships with internal customers, suppliers, consultants, and regulatory municate facilities processes and requirements clearly to all stakeholders.Manage project budgets and align them with company accounting requirements.Plan and control project budgets considering facility quality, lifecycle costs, and operations.Years of Experience and Education: The education and experience requirements for this position are to meet at least one of the following criteria:Accredited mechanical or electrical engineering degree with at least 10 years of relevant experience.Accredited Engineering Bachelors' or 2-year Engineering Technology degree with at least 15 years of relevant experience.Skills Required:Technical Skills (Required):Demonstrated expert level project management ternational experience with high complexity facilities projects.Experience defining and managing scope.Expertise in construction contract negotiation and supplier development strategies.Experience with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Project software.PMP certification is desirable.Demonstrates collaboration and interpersonal skills to build and manage strong relationships.Ability to communicate inclusively, effectively, and concisely with a broad set of stakeholders.Experience communicating project progress to internal customers and Company leadership.Ability to influence without authority.Experience with utilizing and refining internal processes to facilitate sound decision making and impactful results.
