Field Service Technician Level III - Standby Power GenerationSmith Power Products is looking for an experienced Field Service Technician Level III to join our team, specializing in Standby Power Generation.What You'll Do:Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on generators and components at customer sites with minimal supervision.Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using specialized tools and documented procedures.Engage professionally with customers to provide top-tier service and support.Prepare and submit service reports, timesheets, and warranty claims accurately.Continuously develop your skills through training aligned with business and industry needs.Follow all Health, Safety & Environmental policies and report any incidents or concerns.What You Bring:Strong mechanical and electrical repair skills, including High Voltage Low Voltage experience.Ability to perform electrical diagnostics and repairs independently on power generation products.Proven expertise in complex troubleshooting and repairs with minimal supervision.Experience training and mentoring junior technicians.Valid driver's license pensation & Benefits:Competitive hourly pay: $35 - $45 per hour (based on experience).401(k) retirement plan with company match.Medical, dental, and life insurance coverage.Paid Time Off (PTO) and overtime opportunities.Health Reimbursement Account funded by Smith Power Products.Join a team that values expertise, professionalism, and growth.
