The right candidates will work with the development team to coordinate preconstruction and construction activities including entitlements, design, permitting coordination, proforma analysis, engineering and construction oversight, creating and maintaining relationships with builders, well as reporting and project delivery.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Creates, reviews, and maintains all due diligence property documents and reports in order to collaborate with the Land Acquisition team on potential development opportunitiesAssist with due diligence during land acquisition processEnsure that all due diligence work is completed prior to expiration of contingency periodManage, coordinate resources for, and meet all entitlement needs for land acquisitionsMonitor development phases and entitlement processes post-closingParticipate in the design processWork with engineering department during plat and construction plan submittalsAssist in moving projects through municipalities and countiesAnticipate and address issues to keep projects movingDevelop business relationships with municipalities, builders, and utility contractorsBuild, maintain, update and analyze development budgets and schedulesManage the landlot purchase contract process with assistance of our internal corporate counselConduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve our sellers and customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the companyAble to travel on a weekly basis to identify project status, progress and risk-management and track status in our project management softwareQualificationsRequired QualificationsFour years of related experience andor training preferably in TexasMust have a valid driver's licenseFour-year college or university degree in related fieldPreferred QualificationsStrong Communication SkillsCreative thinking and attention to detailSelf-motivated, Team PlayerFun!Come join a winning team with over 40 years of success!
