Executive DirectorType: Full-TimeShift: Day ShiftWage: $100-$110K DOELocation: Arete Aspen Ridge Retirment, 1010 NE Purcell Blvd, Bend, OR 97701You will be a great fit if you have proven success in managing a long-term care, assisted living, health care, senior housing, or independent living environment and be able to follow standard policies and procedures while demonstrating outstanding customer service and communication skills.Responsibilities:Responsible for the overall administration of the community, including strategic planning, goal setting, financial activities, and reportingMaintain excellent service quality and occupancy targets and meet corporate financial goals within established budgetary guidelineProvide leadership in developing and implementing systems for efficient and comprehensive service and patient careEnsure accountability, communication, and good working relationships with team membersDirect ongoing activity for community relations director to meet occupancy goals.Ensure compliance of programs and community with regulatory agencies (city, state and federal)Assist TA team in the hiring process of community personnelComplete on-going training as assigned and as required by state licensureStay informed of health industry trends and monitor standards and complianceMaintain confidentiality of all resident care information in accordance with HIPAA guidelinesComplete other duties as assignedQualifications:Bachelor's degree in the health industry, business or gerontology preferred unless state requires an advanced degreeMeet state requirements for Assisted Living Executive Director positionMust have or obtain (within 30-days of employment) First Aid & CPR CertificationMust obtain a Food Handlers Card within 30 days of employmentKnowledge and experience caring for and interacting with eldersTwo years' experience in a supervisory capacity, preferably in a retirement or assisted living communityExperience managing high quality senior living communities with demonstrated success in meeting financial goals specific to assisted or independent living communities Knowledgeable of Assisted Living operational standardsMust be familiar with the laws, regulations and guidelines governing personnel administrationAble to make independent decisions and work harmoniously with and supervise other personnelAble to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies and the publicMust have an active Oregon RCF LicenseEmployee Perks: Excellent benefits package with medical coverage, voluntary dental, vision, and life insurance, short-term disability, and AD&D coverage, for full time employees.Tuition assistanceAccess up to 50% of your net earned income before paydayCareer DevelopmentEmployee assistance program featuring counseling services, financial coaching, free legal services, and morePaid time offsick leave (rolls over annually)401(k) retirement plan with employer match#RNCampaign123"At Arete Living, we love to celebrate our diverse group of hardworking employees.
